Jaknib, which contains tofacitinib 5mg is an oral medication used to treat autoimmune conditions such as Rheumatoid arthritis, Psoriatic arthritis, and Ulcerative colitis. It works by inhibiting Janus kinase (JAK) enzymes, which are involved in the body’s immune and inflammatory processes, thereby reducing inflammation, pain, and disease progression. While effective in controlling symptoms, it can suppress the immune system and may increase the risk of infections.
