Azmasol contains Salbutamol, which is a short-acting beta-2 adrenergic receptor agonist primarily used for the rapid relief of bronchospasm in conditions such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It works by stimulating beta-2 receptors in the bronchial smooth muscle, which activates the enzyme adenyl cyclase to increase intracellular cyclic AMP, leading to effective bronchodilation within minutes.
